XLMedia boosts mobile inventory with strategic acquisitions

London AIM listed igaming acquisition marketing specialist XLMedia issued a short corporate statement informing the UK media that it had acquired a number of mobile focused websites to increase its publisher network.

XLMedia as yet have not disclosed any financial details regarding the mobile acquisitions, however company governance stated that the company would continue to search for opportunities to expand their mobile presence.

The mobile acquisitions, see XLMedia further its online marketing inventory and services. In September 2014 the igaming marketing specialist acquired social gaming digital advertising exchange ExciteAd Digital Marketing for a reported $19 million (£11.5 million) 

Commenting on the Acquisition XLMedia CEO Ory Weihs said

“Mobile users are now becoming a significant portion of our target audience which is why we are developing new features and capabilities to deliver a seamless mobile experience across our websites and ads in order to drive enhanced experience to our users,”

“We see this process as a key strategic driver for the business and as a result have allotted a significant part of our budget to further develop our in-house systems in the mobile arena,”
