VBET has made inroads on its sports marketing strategy in the French betting and gaming market, entering into partnership with Ligue 1 club OGC Nice.
In pursuit of its objective to take on a ‘leading role on the French sports betting scene’, the operator’s deal with the top-flight team will include key branding and broadcasting caveats, with the company logo appearing on club jerseys until 2025.
Additionally, the firm will gain brand visibility at OGC Nice’s home matches at the Allianz Riviera stadium and across the club’s digital media, whilst VBET will broadcast exclusive content for the team.
David Ozararat, President of VBET France, said: “Beyond the symbolism of signing with the club of the city where I was born and grew up, I am very happy that VBET can become one of the Official Partners of OGC Nice alongside its shareholder – INEOS.
“Today, the club’s potential is at its highest and its President’s ambitions are in line with our entrepreneurial project in terms of means, values and vision.”
The agreement also covers fan engagement, with the Malta-based operator running contests for supporters to win match tickets whilst also conducting digital cavities relating to the Nice community.
OGC Nice is the third French club to partner with VBET, following on from fellow Ligue 1 side AS Monaco and Ligue 2 club Paris FC, with further football collaborations also secured outside the French scene – such as with Manchester City and Ukraine midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko.
