Following its recent deal completed with last season’s runaway Premier League champions Manchester City, Marathonbet has headed to Spain to link up with La Liga side Girona FC.
Becoming the new main sponsor of the Montilivi based side on a multi-year contract that begins in the upcoming season, the online bookmaker has stressed its commitment to fans of the clubs via a number of exclusive content, promotions, opportunities and special offers.
Under the terms of the deal the Marathonbet logo is to be featured on the front of the first team’s new kit, whilst a wide presence will also be enjoyed throughout the Catalan club’s Montilivi Stadium via various levels of branding.
Ignasi Mas-Bagà, CEO of Girona FC, said: “Our agreement with Marathonbet is highly strategic. With this link we have fulfilled our objective of establishing an alliance with a renowned and prestigious company.
“Marathonbet will be our first main sponsor since winning promotion to La Liga, so this is a real milestone for the club. We intend to create a close, long-term relationship so that both entities can continue to grow together.”
Alongside becoming the first ever official global betting partner of Manchester City recently, Marathonbet also holds deals with the likes of Moscow Dynamo and Hibernian FC.
