12BET hits sponsorship double with West Brom shirt sleeve deal

West Bromwich Albion FC (WBA) has teamed up with sports betting and casino brand 12BET for the club’s first ever shirt sleeve sponsorship deal.

The deal will see the 12BET, an in-play focused operator formed in 2007, displayed on both the shirt sleeve for the playing shirts and on Baggies’ training wear.

12BET Spokesman Rory Anderson commented: “We are excited to be the first ever betting company to partner with a Premier League club as both Shirt Arm and Training Wear partner.

Simon King, WBA Chief Commercial Officer, added: “The sustained success of West Brom in the Premier League makes them a great fit for 12BET, who have a long-standing heritage as a recognisable Premier League brand. 12BET are a reputable brand with a rich history of working in the Premier League.

“To have been identified as an exciting prospect by the company highlights the growth the club has made globally in recent years. With strong Asian links continuing to grow, this was instantly recognised as a perfect partnership.”

Saturday’s Premier League opener against Bournemouth will put the sponsorship on show for the first time. It comes just a few weeks after 12BET became the ‘Official Sponsorship Partner’ of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) 2017 World Championships.
