Former NordicBet (Betsson Group) Managing Director Neill Garfield has been appointed new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Boylesports, as the Irish operator looks to expand its presence in the UK betting and igaming sector.
Garfield has begun work at Boylesports Dundalk Irish headquarters, but is expected to relocate to Boylesports new Gibraltar offices, where he will focus on the operator’s online marketing strategy.
Industry news source EGR Magazine reported that Garfield had left his senior management position for Betsson Group subsidiary brand NordicBet.com at the start of January. Garfield’s appointment as CMO ends the operators three month search for a replacement of former Marketing Director James Arnold
Garfield has deep knowledge of international marketing and igaming player acquisition, having served as a Marketing Manager for Paddy Power and headed marketing services for Australian betting operator Tom Waterhouse.
In December 2014, Boylesport announced that it had undertaken a re-brand as the bookmaker looked to expand its services in the UK betting market. The re-brand is set to be supported by a new multi-content advertising campaign, which will feature the tagline #BetonBoyle
