Sky Bet Becomes Betting Partner for Leeds United

spieloSky Bet the igaming arm of UK TV and satellite broadcaster BSKYB have announced their first football sponsorship deal with English Championship football club Leeds United for the 2013/14 football season. Sky Bet have not made public the amount paid to enter sponsorship with the Yorkshire based football club. Sky Bet currently maintain their igaming operations in the city of Leeds. However the igaming operator has confirmed that the partnership will see the operator providing Leeds United’s match day betting operation as well as seeing the firm appear across many of the club’s digital marketing and broadcast platforms and on the club’s own satellite football channel Leeds United Television. The agreement will also see extensive engagement opportunities with the club’s fanbase and advertising across all match day media, Leeds Uniteds West Stand will also see significant branding installed for the Sky Bet brand. Leeds United Managing Director David Haigh said: “We are delighted to welcome Sky Bet into the Leeds United Commercial Partners programme which continues to grow from strength to strength. The Sky Bet brand is one of the most high profile, fastest growing brands within its sector and we are proud to be the first direct football club partnership with Sky Bet. “The new partnership also means that all four stands here at Elland Road will be sponsored for the first time ever as we continue to attract high calibre sponsors to the club. It’s also great news for the City as two of the major organisations will be working together. We are confident that Leeds United fans will be able to take advantage of some of the great betting odds that Sky Bet will offer.”
