Ladbrokes Amplify backs British talent returning to live shows

Ladbrokes has launched the live shows of its ‘Amplify’ campaign, bringing live music experiences to football audiences across the UK.

Amplify sees Ladbrokes continue its work with #WeMakeEvents, helping UK live music and entertainment venues return to business following more than a year under lockdown orders.

The first Ladbrokes Amplify show will see Liverpool indie rising stars Red Rum Club perform at the iconic Cavern Club – birthplace of The Beatles – on Monday 25 October.

The Cavern Club event will be followed by Leeds rockers Skylights performing an Amplify hometown gig at The Wardrobe in Leeds Arts Quarter on Monday 29 November.

Amplify is the first time a UK bookmaker has hosted a series of live music events, supporting local talents and venues. Ladbrokes will broadcast highlights from the gigs streamed across Ladbrokes’ social media channels.

“Liverpool and Leeds have a rich musical and footballing heritage and we want to reward football fans and music lovers who love live entertainment with a unique experience,” said Jessica O’Reilly, Head of PR at Ladbrokes.

“Ladbrokes Amplify will bring football fans intimate gigs with their favourite bands that support the same teams as they do.”
