Mo the man for fantasy football managers

SBC’s Charlie Cole sits atop the League of Legends, as the Premiership heads into yet another international break.

Gameweek 11 saw Cole record 53 points, the same as James Birch who trails in second, with Mohamed Salah’s 15 points making him the side’s top scorer. Manchester City duo Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling chipped in with eight and five respectively, however, things could’ve been much better had Harry Kane (4 points) not carried the captain’s armband.

Amongst the movers and shakers in the upper echelons of the league is David Lees, who’s 61 points saw him leapfrog several places into the top ten despite also having Spurs striker Kane installed as captain.  Salah, who along with Bournemouth defender Steve Cook earned the highest round score of 15 points, top scored once again, backed up by Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta (12) and Watford playmaker Richarlison (7), as Lees charged into seventh spot.

SBC’s Conall McCabe also took advantage of some lacklustre scores to climb up to 20th in the standings, courtesy of a 67 point haul.  Almost half of his total was acquired by captain Salah (30), while Alvaro Morata’s goalscoring exploits in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United earned the Spanish striker 8 points.

This week’s top scorer comes from the side currently ranked at 33 in the League of Legends, as Tony Kershaw, rather fortuitously, romped to 70 points.  With captain Dele Alli out injured it was vice captain Salah (30) who earned the double points duty, back up by Morata (8), Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey (6) and Burnley defender Matt Lowton (6).

A North London derby kicks off round 12 of the Premier League after the international break, as Mauricio Pochettino takes his side to the Emirates.  Elsewhere, Manchester City travel to Leicester City, Manchester United welcome Newcastle United to Old Trafford and the league’s basement side Crystal Palace will hope to snatch their second win of the season at home to Everton.
