NetEnt has hired Therese Hillman as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), starting on January 9, 2017. Hillman is also part of the audit committee on the board of directors at Unibet.
A member of the board of directors at Unibet since May 2015, Hillman has spent the past five years as CEO of Gymgrossisten, a subsidiary of the Qliro Group. She held responsibility for creating, communicating, and implementing the Gymgrossisten vision, mission and overall direction.
She has a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting and Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, and also holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Virginia.
Per Eriksson, President and CEO of NetEnt, said: “I’m very pleased to welcome Therese Hillman to NetEnt. Her experience as CFO and CEO in a digital growth company will make her a strong contribution to the senior management team at NetEnt.”
Therese Hillman will start her new position on January 9, 2017, and is replacing Maria Hedengren, who is leaving NetEnt as previously announced. Hedengren had led the firm’s financial initiatives and strategy since 2011, establishing key operations for risk management, auditing and corporate compliance as the company expanded its services internationally.
