Playtech secures content partnership with PokerStars

ShimonPlaytech has secured a deal to supply PokerStars with a range of its popular slot titles. The deal extends the relationship between the two companies, as PokerStars is already served by Quickspin, the Swedish games developer acquired by Playtech for €50 million in May 2016.

Amaya’s PokerStars brand has already launched slot titles ‘White King’, ‘Frankie Dettori’ and ‘Greta Blue’ on both desktop and mobile, with other branded games such as ‘Top Gun’ and ‘Gladiator’ to be released later this year, alongside the first three titles in a seven game ‘Age of the Gods’ series.

Shimon Akad, Playtech Chief Operating Officer, said: “We’re delighted to have extended our existing relationship with PokerStars, one of the most established and well-known brands in the industry, to provide them with the industry’s best-performing content.”

Sam Hobcraft, PokerStars’ Director of Casino, added: “We are very excited to partner with Playtech, and to provide our customers some of the best slots in the industry. In particular, their suite of jackpot games will fill one of the final gaps in our product offering.”
