Sweden and Malta based live dealer casino specialist Evolution Gaming has confirmed the appointment of Jacob Kaplan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Kaplan who joins Evolution Gaming from Stockholm-listed Scandinavian focused pension and investments firm Nordnet AB replaces outgoing CFO Fredrik Svederman who is to leave the firm at the end of 2016.

Finding Sverderman’s successor, Evolution Gaming governance confirmed that Kaplan would take over financial management of the firm by December of this year, with Sverderman acting as an advisor for the change-over process.

Announcing the firm’s upcoming change in financial leadership, Evolution Gaming CEO Jens Von Bahr stated:

“We welcome Jacob Kaplan to the group. With his experience from an entrepreneurial and public environment, Jacob is a perfect match with the needs of Evolution and is recruited in a phase when we are preparing the company for a move to the main list of the exchange”.

Updating the market, Von Bahr would thank Fredrik Svederman for his six-year contribution to the firm’s strategy and growth, stating that all Evolution Gaming employees and stakeholders wished him good luck in his ‘new challenges’
