Dan Taylor, CEO of Flutter International, will take centre stage as he delivers a captivating opening keynote titled ‘Co-Creating The Flutter Edge: Insights From Flutter’s International CEO,’ setting the tone for the leader’s conference track at this year’s SBC Summit Barcelona.
With a remarkable career focused on building brands for Flutter Entertainment, Taylor will reflect on his journey, sharing his profound insights and forward-thinking vision with the event attendees.

After obtaining his MA in Economics from Cambridge University, Taylor embarked on his professional journey in 2001, joining the consultancy firm OC&C. He dedicated eight years to the company before transitioning to DMG Media, where he served as Group Strategy Director for a period of three years. Taylor’s remarkable leadership qualities did not go unnoticed, and after his time at DMG, he was appointed CEO of Teletext Holidays.
In March 2015, Taylor was approached by former CEO of Paddy Power, Andy McCue, to assume the role of Managing Director of Retail, which he held for two years. Following a brief stint as Managing Director for the UK & Ireland, Taylor’s career trajectory in the industry soared even higher in 2018 when he was appointed CEO of Paddy Power Betfair Europe. In 2019, Taylor witnessed the company’s rebrand to Flutter Entertainment and the following year, he assumed the position of CEO of Flutter International in recognition of his strategic prowess.
During his tenure at Paddy Power Betfair, Taylor has devoted much time to reinvigorating the morale and culture of the company, regaining organisational and strategic clarity and establishing a stringent focus on cross-collaboration between brands. This unwavering commitment to collaboration is the driving force behind the strength of the Flutter Entertainment brand as it stands today. The ‘Flutter Edge’ strategic approach, which empowers the organisation to foster seamless synergy and enables the leveraging of its collective strengths to propel local brands towards attaining a regional competitive edge, will be the focus of Taylor’s keynote speech at SBC Summit Barcelona.
