London becomes safer gambling melting pot as Kindred plc puts focus on sustainability

Kindred Group plc has revealed more details around the agenda for its upcoming March conference at the Kia Oval in London, which will adopt the theme of Responsible Gambling.

Titled “Safer Gambling: A look into the future”, the event calls upon experts from within and outside the industry to come together and discuss plans and ideas of how to ensure that the industry remains sustainable and safe through and through.

Some of the highlighted company names confirmed for attendance include EPIC Global Solutions, KPMG, TransUnion, as well as representatives from the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA). This year’s keynote speaker will be renowned author Daniel Maté.

Alexander Westrell, Director of Communications, Kindred Group, commented: “At this year’s conference, under the theme ‘Safer Gambling: A look into the future,’ we will delve into the implementation of AI in the gambling industry, focusing on its potential to advance responsible gambling measures.

“We will also take a deep dive into what opportunities lie in automation and technology when it comes to affordability and financial risk assessments. One of our panel discussions will spotlight what is next for the White Paper in the UK – a theme that will be of interest for many markets across Europe.

“With a stellar lineup of highly qualified speakers, I look forward to a conference with valuable insights and discussions for all attendees.”

Last year, Kindred spared significant resources to focus on the promotion of safer gambling by strengthening its 0% campaign partnership with Rangers FC, which aims to eradicate profits from harmful gambling.

The Unibet brand operator recently secured the funding for the provision of a number of gambling education sessions to Rangers’ players and staff, delivered in conjunction with EPIC Global Solutions

Of interest to investors, Kindred’s financial calendar is expected to deliver the Q4 ‘23 quarterly results on 7 February.
