Rank appoints Liam Wallwork as digital transformation lead

London-listed Rank Group Plc has confirmed the appointment of Liam Wallwork as inbound Director of Transformation for its Interactive division.

Wallwork joins Rank’s executive management team from William Hill, where he formerly served as Commercial Director and Director of Gaming (2017-2019).

A digital strategy expert for mass-market igaming brands, Wallwork holds further industry experience having served as an operations and gaming director for Betfair and Paddy Power.

In his remit, Wallwork will lead strategy and planning of Rank’s digital assets, as a key stakeholder of the firm’s ‘transformation team’ leading Rank’s ‘corporate recovery plan’, under the guidance of former McKinsey executive Jim Marsh.

Updating the market, John O’Reilly, CEO of Rank, said: “I am pleased that Liam is joining Rank next week in the newly created role of Director of Transformation for Rank Interactive. Liam has a wealth of industry and digital experience, most recently from his time at William Hill, and this will be invaluable to the Group as we continue to work through our digital transformation work-stream.”
