Industry multi-channel platform provider Digitain has announced that it has launched a new online sportsbook product in partnership with Bosnian operator Xlivebet.com, expanding its presence within Eastern European markets.
The new operator will be powered by Digitain’s fully managed sportsbook platform, offering odds on 65 different sports, taking in 7,500 leagues, and more than 3,000 betting markets. It also covers 28,000 live events a month.
As part of the deal, Digitain is also supplying its sportsbook solution to Xlivebet’s retail operation in the country, via an integration into the land-based betting terminals of Xlive’s sister company EEP Casino.
EEP Casino is the Eastern European division of Merkur Gaming, whose games will feature exclusively on the proprietary self-service terminals.
The sportsbook will initially be included on an order of 100 of the machines, one of which will be displayed on Digitain’s stand at EiG in Berlin next week, with plans to roll out another 300 in the coming months.
Suren Khachatryan, Digitain CEO, said: “We have been working hard to forge new partnerships in different parts of the world, and we are very pleased to have teamed up with xlivebet.com and EEP in Bosnia.
“We are also really excited to be heading to EiG for the first time, and to welcome visitors and fellow exhibitors to our stand. It’s a great chance to show off our amazing products, and to chat with our peers about the latest trends that will shape our industry in the coming months.”
Dean Todorovic, Xlive CEO, commented on the sportsbook launch: “It is great to be working with Digitain who have a lot of experience in offering retail sportsbook and online casino customers like ours an excellent online alternative when it comes to enjoying sports betting.
“The ability to have a proper multi-channel offering will not only provide our players with more choice, but will give us an advantage over our competitors.”
