
Clive Jones, chairman at interactive TV gaming firm NetPlay TV, has described 2013 as a ‘very strong year’ for the company ahead of its AGM today. Jones said that the company delivered its third consecutive year of net revenue growth in excess of 20% and increased EBITDA by 21% to a record £5.2m.
He added: “We have continued to be highly cash generative with the year end cash balances standing at £13.9m. We are therefore pleased to have recommended a final dividend of 0.32 pence per share, which will be submitted for formal approval at the AGM today.
“Q2 average daily net revenues continue to grow compared with the same period last year. In line with the Group’s stated marketing strategy, its brand SuperCasino will be the headline sponsor for Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother from June to September. In addition, the Company is pleased to announce that its brand Vernons.com will sponsor the Walkabout chain of sports bars throughout the UK until May 2015.
“We anticipate that 2014 will be a year of further financial progress, and we look forward to updating the market with our Q2 KPIs in July.”
