Digitain has opened an office in Malta to bring strategic value to its operations in one of Europe’s iGaming hubs.
The new HQ follows the announcement of Digitain’s new Malta unit earlier in January, which is headed by CEO Aida Vardanya as a way of positioning the firm to quickly executive its European plans.
Both Vardanya and Digitain hope that the new base of operations will quickly become a connecting bridge between the global gambling company and its business interests across Europe – spanning from commercial operations, regulatory engagement and partner support.
Commenting on the office, Vardanyan said: “Our Malta office is more than just a location—it’s a strategic hub for our European operations. It helps us stay closely connected with our European partners, better understand local needs, and provide more responsive support.
“Being based here allows us to build stronger relationships and deliver on our long-term vision of enhanced regional partnerships.”
The location of the office is also not incidental. Malta is considered a high-value gambling jurisdiction by the global market, and is home to industry heavyweights such as Betsson, Kindred, and LeoVegas.
A large part of the island’s economy is fueled by the business that these companies do there. Because it hosts so many key players, Malta has become a central part of the European gambling ecosystem, which Digitain plans to fully utilise.
