GR8 Tech has introduced a new feature, ‘Fancy Mode’, with the goal of enhancing customer engagement with its sportsbook.
The UI upgrade offers the ‘look and feel’ of exchange betting while keeping operators’ revenue models intact.
Denys Parkhomenko, CPO at GR8 Tech, commented: “The exchange-style sportsbook UI gives operators a smart, low-risk way to appeal to exchange bettors without overhauling their platform.
“This is exactly the type of flexible, player-driven evolution we believe in – small but impactful changes that drive engagement and revenue.”

GR8 Tech is confident that the introduction of an exchange-based interface will drive audience engagement by providing a different offering, while also making revenue stability during popular sports events more likely.
For example, the UI Toggle allows players to switch between ‘Fixed’ and ‘Exchange’ views, with a customisable default setting for new users. Meanwhile, optimised Market & Odds Display means that Odds automatically convert to a Back/Lay-style format.
Furthermore, there have been some cricket-specific enhancements which include dedicated updates to Cricket event pages to ensure players experience a more intuitive and familiar interface. The launch is in line with the Indian Premier League (IPL) which kicks off again this weekend.
Finally, an adjusted CashOut, BetSlip and BetHistory functionalities have been introduced for a refined user experience.
“Operators need every advantage to capture and retain traffic during the world’s biggest sports tournaments,” Parkhomenko added.
“With the Fancy Mode, we provide a high-impact engagement tool that requires no operational risk but delivers significant player retention benefits.”
The Fancy Mode – which is available now for cricket single bets – can be enabled by operators as a default view or offered as a toggle-on feature within cricket event pages.
In another move to enhance the player experience, this month GR8 Tech also upgraded its Tournament engine with a new lobby that features multi-currency support and manual prize distribution.
The new additions now allow operators to increase the efficiency with which they run global tournaments while reaching higher rates of engagement.
