Raketech Group Plc has confirmed the appointment of Marina Andersson and Patrick Jonker as newly elected members of the Board of Directors of the Nodric Nasdaq OMX-listed igaming media publisher.
The decision follows Raketech concluding its annual shareholders meeting on 24 November, shareholders unanimously agreed to appoint Marina Andersson and Patrick Jonker as new members of the Board.
Andersson, holds an extensive background of over 20 years in senior corporate development and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), has previously contributed her expertise to the Stillfront Group and Deloitte.
Her experience spans financial and strategic advisory, transaction structuring, and company valuation.
Jonker brings to the table an extensive background in the international casino and sports betting industry, having held senior positions at Betsson Group and William Hill. His experience is expected to bolster Raketech’s strategic direction in these sectors.
The appointments follow the resignations of Pierre Cadena and Johan Svensson, who stepped down on October 9 and 10, 2023, respectively. Svensson will continue to contribute to Raketech as the Chief Commercial Officer.
The current Board is led by Chairman Rolf Ulrik Bengtsson, and the corporate directors of Erik Johan Sebastian Skarp, Clare Marie Boynton, alongside the newly appointed Andersson and Jonker.
The reshuffle is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the company’s leadership and drive future growth.
