LeoVegas is sponsoring EuroPride 2023, an annual touring event celebrating the LGBTIQ+ community while also promoting a platform for dialogue and awareness.
The event is taking place between 7-17 September in Valletta, Malta, and is expected to bring together around 50,000 people for ten days of awareness, celebration and entertainment.
Stefan Nelson, Group CFO and Managing Director at LeoVegas Malta, stated: “We are proud to demonstrate our commitment to equality for all. At LeoVegas Group, equality, diversity, and inclusion are ingrained in our culture, and we eagerly look forward to supporting EuroPride’s mission of equality.”
In detail, EuroPride 2023 will feature concerts, art exhibitions, panel discussions, the renowned Pride Parade and a concert performance by the festival’s ambassador Christina Aguilera.
Initiatives will also be taking place across the Maltese islands, with the message: Equality from the Heart.
The event is hosted by Allied Rainbow Communities and supported by the government of Malta – Parliamentary Secretariat for Reforms and Equality.
“We’re delighted to announce our collaboration with LeoVegas Group for the EuroPride 2023,” added Maria Azzopardi, President of Allied Rainbow Communities.
“Their commitment to diversity and inclusion aligns seamlessly with our mission, and the support is a significant stride towards promoting equality and highlighting the vitality of the LGBTIQ+ community. This collaboration will bring a positive impact to the festival, and we can’t wait for it to start.”
This week, LeoVegas has also announced that it has become the new principal partner and front-of-shirt sponsor of Blackpool FC.
The Swedish gambling company’s branding is set to ‘prominently feature’ on the front of all 2023/24 first-team shirts, as well as pitch-side LED screens and static boards at Bloomfield Road Stadium.
