Super Group offloads non-core B2B unit to Games Global

Super Group has announced the sale of all ‘non-core B2B’ assets to Games Global, choosing to focus all growth on Betway and Spin brands.

The proposed sale of B2B assets was agreed with Games Global who will acquire the Super Group subsidiary Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC B2B).

Founded in 2021, Games Global is the new venture of gambling figurehead Walter Bugno, former CEO of IGT Interactive, which seeks to become a leading game supplier for the US igaming market.

By acquiring DGC B2B, Games Global will secure igaming licences and operations to deliver games content in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan and Connecticut.

“The acquisition of DGC B2B is an extremely exciting opportunity, accelerating Games Global’s entry into the rapidly growing US iGaming market.” – read Walter Bugno’s statement.

Super Group will seek to complete the sale of DGC B2B by H2 trading, as leadership focuses on returning Betway and Spin brands to growth within North American markets, following the group’s post-NYSE IPO slump.

Group CEO Neal Menashe said “Disposing of DGC’s B2B division makes commercial sense and will allow us to continue to focus solely on our B2C growth in the United States. We have been using Games Global’s award-winning content for many years and we are very confident the DGC B2B division will be in great hands. We wish them all the best.”
