Entain confirms Peter Isola NED departure

The board of Entain Plc has informed investors that Peter Isola has chosen not to renew his duties as a Non-Executive Director of the FTSE100.

As a result, Isola has chosen to end his six-year tenure as a corporate advisor of Entain Plc on 21 March 2022 to focus on new opportunities.

A legal expert in financial services and online gambling, Isola is the Founding Partner of Gibraltar’s largest law firm ISOLAS LLP

The executive joined Entain’s board in 2016 and held governance oversight positions on the firm’s Audit, Remuneration and ESG Committees.

During his NED tenure, Isola’s provided Entain’s executive leadership team with legal guidance on the firm’s merger with Bwin.Party Entertainment (2015/2016) and its subsequent transformative takeover of Ladbrokes Coral (2018).

Commenting on Isola’s departure, Barry Gibson Chairman of Entain, said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Peter for his significant contribution and commitment to Entain over the last six years. We wish him well for the future.”

At the start of the year, Entain moved to expand its corporate governance advisory welcoming former Bacardi Global CMO Stella David and ex-Lazard and KPMG executive Vicky Jarman as new NEDs.
