Leading CIS markets bookmaker Fortuna Entertainment has completed the full migration of its Polish sportsbook property onto the Playtech ‘IMS platform’.
Optimising its group omni-channel capacities, Fortuna has sanctioned Playtech to deploy new systems integrations across its active market portfolio, which sees Poland join Fortuna’s home markets Slovakia and the Czech Republic in upgrading to IMS.
Completing its Polish deployment, Playtech development teams will now move to upgrade Fortuna systems for the markets of Croatia and Romania, which are scheduled to go live later this year.
Per Widerstrom, CEO at Fortuna Entertainment Group, said: “Our strategic partnership with Playtech continues to be integral to our growth plans, as well as our successes so far. This migration will offer Polish customers a leading user experience, and more broadly it confirms our omni-channel leadership in Central and Eastern Europe.”
Fortuna has previously underlined the importance of completing its 2020 systems upgrades, which will see its entire CIS sportsbook profile management under a single platform, thereby improving resources and reducing costs.
Further benefits will see Fortuna secure a ‘360-degree view’ on its players, unrestrained by individual market dynamics, which will provide better customer service, engagement and interaction with Playtech’s responsible gambling tools.
Shimon Akad, Playtech Chief Operating Officer, added: “This is just the latest step in what continues to be an impressive growth trajectory for Fortuna, and we know there is a lot more to come.
“As well as highlighting the power of Playtech ONE as a solution for licences, this is also a prime example of how Playtech can be the technology provider of choice for companies as they expand and build their offerings in new markets.”
