6 of the Best – Revolver Gaming’s Ryan Lazarus

This week’s 6 of the Best comes from Ryan Lazarus, Chief Executive Officer of Revolver Gaming.

Continue reading to discover music and move dilemmas, high hopes for a Premier League side to end a long barren spell and what is described as “nothing better or more refreshing”.

Best Holiday

Snowboarding – nothing better or more refreshing and fun, than merging with the silence and beauty as you cruise down the mountain. It’s an active holiday without feeling active. Probably one of the most therapeutic ways to spend your time. You also feel more energised than any other holiday on your return to work.

Best Book

Depends on whether it’s fiction or non-fiction and there are many, but an awesome read that comes to mind is Perfume by Patrick Süskind. Non-fiction (or kind of) that I recently read and is very profound – The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer.

Best Album

I have many, it really depends on my mood, but let’s look at the ones that may have defined the era for me. My favourite from my youth are say, Joshua Tree by U2 and Thriller by Michael Jackson. 90’s rave scene probably Blue Lines –  Massive Attack and too many great trance tracks to choose from.

Best Sporting Experience

Whenever South Africa are playing rugby or Spurs are playing football. SA rugby have won a few championships which is nice but I’m still waiting and hoping for Spurs to win something.

Best Film

There are many and it depends on the genre – best gangster film GoodFellas, best horror The Evil Dead, best thriller The Usual Suspects and best Animated film The Incredibles.

Best App

Got to be Uber for transport, LinkedIn for business networking, YouTube for instant videos on subjects on your mind, Facebook for wasting time!
