Scientific Games appoints Alexander Ambrose as financial lead for SG Digital

Nasdaq-listed industry technology group Scientific Games Corporation (SGC), continues to restructure the executive management of its SG Digital division, confirming the appointment of Alexander Ambrose as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Ambrose joins SG Digital’s leadership team from competitor Playtech Plc, where he served as UK Finance Director (2013-2018).

Taking on SG Digital CFO responsibilities, Ambrose will lead the financial planning, auditing and capital strategy for SGC’s newest division, which seeks to become the outright technology and systems leader for the global online gambling sector.

Updating investors, Jason Walbridge, Chief Operating Officer of SG Digital, welcomed the appointment, saying: “Alex is the perfect addition to our team as we level up our product portfolio and continue the rapid transformation of our sportsbook business to meet the needs of our growing US customer base. As a finance leader with strong industry expertise, Alex has extensive experience leading finance teams in a multi-product environment.
