FTSE bookmaker William Hill has moved to expand its profile and coverage within Nevada, confirming that it will become the official betting partner of Las Vegas Lights FC (Lights FC).

Playing in the United Soccer League, a division under MLS franchises, Lights FC is Las Vegas’ most popular professional soccer team, playing its games in Cashman Field (capacity: 10,000).

The partnership will see William Hill promote its Nevada mobile betting app to Lights FC fans, offering match-day odds on pre-event and in-play markets.

Lights FC fans will be able to activate their Mobile Sports account at William Hill syndicated sports betting properties across Nevada.

Updating the market, William Hill US Chief Executive Officer, Joe Asher detailed his excitement at partnering with a Las Vegas sports team, the city which William Hill recognises as its US home.

“We are excited to partner with Lights FC. Las Vegas is truly a sports destination, and the Lights FC have been a great addition to the city. We look forward to seeing their continued success both on and off the field.”

Speaking to US news sources this week, Asher stated that William Hill’s US division had begun to scout further potential US sports and strategic partnerships.
