Polish state-owned lottery operator Totalizator Sportowy has become the official title sponsor of the national Ekstraklasa league, the highest division of professional football in Poland.
Agreeing sponsorship terms with the Polish Football Federation (PZPN), the sixteen team league will rebrand to the ‘Lotto Ekstraklasa.’
PZPN officials were pleased to have found a title sponsor ahead of the start of the Polish domestic football season on Friday 15 July.
Totalizator Sportowy’s ‘Lotto’ brand will now feature within all Ekstraklasa sanctioned stadiums as well as receiving heightened exposure on match days via media broadcasts and associated digital inventory.
On agreeing terms with PZPN, Totalizator Sportowy governance stated that it was happy to initiate one of its biggest sponsorships, stating that the coverage gained will help promote the ‘Lotto’ current +15,000 sales points within Poland.
As a state-owned corporation, Totalizator Sportowy will help fund Ekstraklasa social and grass root initiatives.
