UK bookmaker Betfred is to show BT Sport programming in its 1,370 UK stores for the next three years after it reached an agreement with the new pay-television broadcaster according to UK utilities services aggregation/comparison website – USwitch.com
UK customers that visit Betfred stores will be able to watch newly launched BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 plus ESPN content in Betfred retail stores. This facility ill be offered as part of the bookmaker’s Betfred TV service.
Bruce Cuthbert, director of commercial customers at BT Sport, said: ‘As the largest independent bookmaker in the UK, we could not have hoped for a bigger name as an early customer.’
