Entering a multi-year agreement, the new UK Tote Group is set to expand its international wagering capacity by utilising Sportech Plc systems and technologies.
The UK Tote will use Sportech’s flagship ‘Quantum System’ to enhance its commingling capabilities by securing data to Sportech’s global partnerships with leading race organisers such as The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC)
The Quantum system will allow a reformed UK Tote to significantly deepen its pool volumes, featuring global racing content throughout its schedule.
Alex Frost, Chief Executive of UK Tote Group, said: “This agreement with Sportech demonstrates further commitment to our international development plans and a desire to see our pools betting operation lead the way in technological innovation to help grow betting on horseracing around the world.”
In 2019, the UK Tote was relaunched in a bid to reimagine pool wagering and racing betting engagements for a new generation of consumers and to revive legacy dynamics.
Strengthening its partnership with Sportech, the UK Tote detailed that enhancing commingling capabilities at an international level was deemed a key focus for its ongoing product development.
