William Hill launches Android App

williamhillsignWilliam Hill has announced the launch of its Android mobile application – the new app is specifically designed for Android users and will further the operator’s mobile product inventory. William Hill reports that since the launch of its iPhone IOS app, the application has been downloaded more than 1.5 million times.

The new app is set to feature new mobile services in order to improve user experience; these include in-play radio and live streaming of selected horse racing.  William Hill is set to promote the app to customers with a £5 free bet offer, which will be available to new and existing customers.

Newly appointed William Hill Mobile Channels Operations Director Juergen Reutter commented on the release: “This is a significant and important milestone in our goal. Mobile is growing phenomenally quickly and is a fantastic way to engage with our customers anytime, anywhere’.

“The success of the iOS app has been breath taking – reaching 1.5 million downloads is a very proud achievement – and with Android now the biggest selling operating system in Britain we’re delighted our customers with Android devices can have the best possible user experience.”
