Sweden split on calls for the ‘moderation of gambling advertising’

Sweden’s Ministry of Finance has published a memorandum proposing that gambling advertising should be forced to carry a ‘moderation warning’, mirroring alcohol advertising. Swedish regulator accepts proposals but maintains some objections

The Spelinspektionen, the Swedish Gambling Inspectorate, has accepted some proposals for further regulation of the country’s industry, but maintains objections to others.
