In 2008, NSoft launched the NAB platform, designed specifically for the local retail market. By 2015, the company introduced the Seven platform, broadening its reach to the regional online market.
Now, in 2024, they have unveiled NextGen, its most ambitious release yet, reflecting three years of dedicated innovation and over a decade of industry expertise. NextGen is strategically targeted at the global market, marking a significant milestone in the NSoft journey.
“NextGen is not just a new platform; it’s the next evolution in sports betting,” said Davor Konjevod, VP of Sales. “We’ve built upon our extensive experience to create a platform that integrates the latest technologies and market insights.”
Trusted and valued
With over 150 clients already using NSoft’s platform and business solutions, the group confidently states that its expertise is trusted and valued across the industry.
NextGen Sportsbook caters to a wide range of clients and business models and provides more than 890k Pre-Match events across 90 different sports, and then additional 890k Live events across 40 different sports annually.
Multifeed
One of the most notable features of this new platform is its Multifeed capability. This innovative system allows for the seamless integration and management of multiple different feeds (sports betting, esports, horse or dog races) and combining them on the same ticket – both in pre-match and live mode.
The best of all – operators can use multiple feeds from different providers, and prioritise their use on different levels (match, tournament, betshop/location, group of locations, betting terminal, individual player).
“Let’s say you’re opening up a new retail shop in an area with medium competition. We give you a set of feeds with attractive odds that will keep both your punters and your bank account happy,” explained Konjevod.
“On the other hand, maybe you’re set on leaving your mark on a highly competitive web landscape. We provide you with a feed with the sharpest odds so that you can satisfy new and established customers.
“But, if even that’s not enough, you can literally handcraft your very own custom feeds which you can not only offer as content to your players, but even sell to other businesses.”
The strategic use of Multifeed opens up a world of possibilities for operators. For instance, assigning the feed with the highest odds to VIP players, and assigning the feed with lower odds to unwanted players (cheaters, arbers, betting syndicates), can significantly enhance player engagement, and reduce risk, respectively.
Moreover, the ability to attract players from competitor betting shops by offering superior odds in specific locations demonstrates the platform’s potential for business expansion and customer acquisition.
NSoft’s attention to detail extends to Multifeed’s extra features, ensuring reliability and user satisfaction. The system’s fail-safe mechanism, which automatically switches to the next priority feed if the highest is unavailable, guarantees uninterrupted service. Additionally, the option to import custom odds allows for unparalleled flexibility and content customisation.
Fully centralised control
Operators can manage all operations from a single point, reducing operational workload and costs, with adjustable levels of automation to suit specific needs.
Multi-tenant capabilities enable operators to create personalised offers for different markets, making it an essential tool for businesses operating in multiple countries.
Personalisation doesn’t end there; NSoft’s integration of the AI-driven module Vaix offers personalised betting recommendations, enhancing the user experience on an individual level.
The platform is highly customisable, offering options to define settlement rules or odds formulas, tailored betting offers, designs, languages, currencies, and odds types. Additionally, several web layouts cater to diverse markets, emphasising European, Asian, and American preferences.
“Our new sportsbook is meticulously designed by NSoft’s engineers to accommodate to a true omnichannel experience, which is just a fancy way of saying that sportsbook is highly adaptable to the specific way you’re reaching out to your customers, whether it be via retail shops, websites, mobile apps or terminals,” continued Konjevod.
“Maybe your customers are accustomed to fractional odds on an Asian view layout. Maybe players from one part of the world are familiar with one type of terminology, while others elsewhere expect something entirely different.”
Risk engine
Risk management makes the difference between a successful and less successful business. Therefore it is another cornerstone of the NextGen Sportsbook.
This module enables operators to choose between managed services or in-house risk handling.
“With managed services, we take care of all aspects of trading, and you are getting the richest offer of feeds and betting stimulation products in partnership with Sportradar,” stated Konjevod.
“In-house means internal risk handling where you need to have your own dedicated trading team, and of course, full control.”
Features like liability-driven risk parameters, enable automatic calculation of risk parameters that you can define in the back office. Standard risk factors are set per match, tournament, market, player, betshop, or terminal.
Furthermore, NSoft’s partnership with the Sportradar Integrity Exchange program underscores its dedication to combating match-fixing, ensuring the fairness and reliability of sports betting. This is especially important in lower leagues where match-fixing is more common.
Other risk engine features include risk triggers, risk authorisation, and risk rules.
Risk triggers allow early detection of a potentially suspicious betting pattern, and with risk authorisation, you can pre-define risk parameters. If those are triggered, the tickets are forwarded to traders and they can analyse the bet, change the stake, odds line, and offer alternative bets to the player.
Risk rules can help with fixed limits (more related to pre-match betting) to protect you against certain forms of play. Some examples of risk rules are similarity rules which detect similar tickets, or a limit on the number of combinations for bonus bets where the profit margin is high and opens up space for arbers.
Retail operations haven’t been overlooked, with NSoft offering solutions to manage risk in land-based businesses, from setting limits on dangerous game patterns to employing in-house Vision AI-powered surveillance software.
“Our in-house AI-powered surveillance and Video Management System can detect dangerous players using advanced facial recognition features,” noted Konjevod.
“Dangerous players are then flagged and tracked from one betshop to another. The traders are automatically notified when such players enter the betshop, and they can change the risk limits for that player or that betshop, without affecting other players in that betshop or other locations.”
Player engagement tools
Player engagement tools like Cash Out, Edit Bet, and Bet Builder, along with cutting-edge betting stimulation products for both pre-match and live betting, showcase NSoft’s focus on enhancing the betting experience and increasing player retention.
Cash Out has a direct positive financial effect and it increases the turnover, especially in live betting. Edit Bet is a true novelty that increases turnover and improves user experience – players can make a change on an already-played ticket.
“Bet Builder allows you to combine different markets within the same match,” said Konjevod. “It’s very useful in pre-match betting, especially with big tournaments and important matches (Euro 2024, Copa America 2024, World Cup, Champions League, Top Five Leagues) where players want to bet on multiple outcomes of the same event.”
Multi-stream and live match tracker are key betting stimulation products for Live betting. We can support both in multi-option, so you can select which match will be assigned to which stream or to which match tracker.
Sportradar has a number of betting stimulation products – stats, bet assist, and head to head which are extremely important and beneficial for pre-match betting, and are part of its NextGen Sportsbook.
Bonuses give additional value to the sportsbook offering and are part of NSoft’s bonus engine – bonus bets, boosted odds, coupons, cashback, free bets, and any kind of other bonuses you can come up with. Your creativity is the only limit.
“As NSoft continues to innovate, the NextGen Sportsbook stands as a testament to the evolving sports betting landscape. It promises a more engaging, customisable, and secure betting experience for everyone,” concluded Konjevod.
