NeoGames targets sports betting security with ULIS membership

NeoGames has shored up its sports safeguarding capabilities by becoming the latest member of United Lotteries for Integrity in Sport (ULIS).

By becoming an Associate Member, the B2B betting and gaming supplier hopes to gain access to a greater pool of resources and expertise on betting integrity issues.

The company’s ultimate goal is to ensure its sports betting offering operates in line with industry standards and regulations. The group’s core sportsbook platform is BtoBet, part of the Aspire Global group it acquired last year, and boosting the international perception of the brand is also on the firm’s agenda for 2023.

NeoGames’ ULIS membership comes as the company seeks to further integrate the BtoBet sportsbook into its wider platform and offer wagering services to lottery operators.

The group’s betting solution has been finding success in Africa of late, having partnered with PremierBet in Kenya and SOJOGO in Mozambique, whilst continuing to contribute positively to NeoGames’ overall trading.

Following the acquisition of BtoBet and Aspire’s Pariplay in 2022, NeoGames was subsequently a takeover target this year, having been bought by Aristocrat Entertainment in May.

Meanwhile, for ULIS, the addition of NeoGames as an associate member further expands its reach, with the organisation – a rebrand from the Global Lottery Monitoring System (GLMS) – recently expanding its ranks with the addition of Danish regulator Spillemyndigheden.
