Betfair adds punch to Froch v Groves

Betfair Sportsbook has offered the public the chance to vote on who they want to win Froch v Groves II with a unique boxing experience.

Betfair Sportbook gave rival boxing fans an opportunity to ‘step into the ring’ at Paddington Station and put their best punch forward for their preferred winner of the most highly anticipated boxing event of the year.

Fans were encouraged to express their thoughts on this bitter rivalry by punching the boxing machine with the face of the boxer that they want to lose the fight.

Information of the number and force of punches will be continually processed to keep fans up to date with who the public want their champion to be. Will Froch silence his critics or is it Saint George’s time to dethrone Nottingham’s Cobra?

The two fierce rivals will take to the ring to silence the question that has been hanging over everyone’s heads since their controversial meeting last year. This fight goes far deeper than a questionable referees judgement. Froch and Groves over the past year have built hatred so strong towards one another that they are counting the minutes until they are face to face in the ring once again.

Betfair Spokesman Harry Phillips explained: “People have wanted to see a rematch between these two fighters since the moment their last match ended. It has divided a nation and led people to question who the best man really is. Putting the power in the publics hands will settle the debate over who is the public’s favourite and Betfair can’t wait to be a part of that process.”
