Bill Floydd – Rank Group

The governance of Rank Group Plc has this morning disclosed the pending appointment of William ‘Bill’ Floydd as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Joining the company on 12 November, Floydd is set to replace Clive Jennings as group Financial lead.

Floydd joins Rank’s executive team from FTSE100 financial information/data provider Experian Plc, where he served as CFO for the UK and Ireland.

Updating investors, Rank governance details that it has secured a seasoned finance executive to join its leadership team, as the company undertakes its ‘transformation strategy’ to reverse its declining performance.

Backing its new recruit, Rank governance points to Floydd’s M&A planning as Experian UK CFO, and his leadership of transformation projects whilst working as finance director for IT multi-national Logica.

John O’Reilly, Chief Executive of Rank Group Plc, said “I am pleased that Bill has agreed to join Rank at this exciting time in the Company’s journey. There is much to be done to deliver our transformational programme and I am confident that Bill is the right person to assist me and the leadership team in delivering a growing business that is fit for the future.”
