The Senet Group, the betting industry body set up by the sector’s major operators, has refreshed its Board at the start of 2016.
Catherine Colloms, Director of Corporate Affairs at Paddy Power, and Donal McCabe, Group Corporate Communications Director of Ladbrokes, have been appointed to the Board of the gambling watchdog.
Colloms and McCabe take the roles of Industry Directors on the board, replacing Fiona Thorne of Coral and David Steele of William Hill, whose one-year terms have come to an end.
The Senet Group Board is constituted always to have a majority of independent directors. The independent directors are Wanda Goldwag, Suzanne McCarthy and Gillian Wilmot, who were appointed in January 2015.
Goldwag, who is also Chair of Senet Group, said: “It is really valuable to have the support of big gambling companies in our endeavour to reduce gambling-related harm. I welcome Catherine and Donal and would also like to thank Fi and David for their contribution over the last year.”
Senet Group members are: William Hill, Ladbrokes, Coral, Paddy Power and Scotbet.
