Problem gambling organisation GamCare is offering new dates for its one day training course Social responsibility & problem gambling awareness.
The course is designed for those working within the betting and gaming industry, and aims to give staff an understanding of social responsibility and interaction with players, raising awareness of problem gambling and signposting to support.
GameCare said that all attendees leave with a firm recognition of problem gamblers, GamCare information leaflets, and a GamCare Certificate of Attendance.
The organisation is currently taking bookings for the following dates: 13 August; 10 September; 14 October. The Social responsibility & problem gambling awareness training programme is held monthly at GamCare’s offices at Clapham Junction, London.
GamCare’s Teresa Tunstall commented: “With over 17 years as leaders in the treatment of problem gambling, GamCare applies its experience to our work with the industry, providing a range of social responsibility training options for all sectors and all companies, big and small.”
