UK igaming operator Coral, has announced the agreement to extend its title sponsorship of the Welsh Grand National annual horse racing event for a further five years.
The Welsh Grand National horse racing event which takes place every December 28th at Chepstow Racecourse as part of the Welsh Horse Racing Christmas programme. Coral.com has agreed to further sponsor the event, as the main title sponsor. Coverage of the Coral.com brand will be visible at the Chepstow Racecourse and throughout associated event content provided by event organisers Arena Racing Company.
The Gala Coral Group owners of the Coral.co.uk brand have been associated with the Chepstow Christmas period marathon for 45 years. The Group claims that this is the longest serving sponsorship in jump racing and the longest partnership between a sports betting operator and a race event organiser.
Arena Racing’s executive director south west, Phil Bell, Commented on the renewal of sponsorship. “We are extremely grateful for Coral’s support of the Welsh Grand National and look forward to continuing the longest jump racing sponsorship relationship between a racecourse and a bookmaker,” Arena Racing’s executive director south west, Phil Bell, said.
