The FREEBETS.com October report has shown exactly why Paddy Power continues to hold on to the affiliate site’s monthly crown as the best bookmaker for money-back offers.
For the third month in a row, and for the fourth time in six months since FREEBETS.com started its monthly analysis of bookmaker offers, the Irish bookmaker has come out on top.
Detailed analysis from 19 leading bookmakers has found three key reasons for Paddy Power’s sustained success in this area. While many rival firms limit money-back refunds to smaller stakes of typically £20-£25, Paddy Power’s maximum refunds of £100 are among the highest available online.
Their money-back offers are frequently triggered by markets where there is a relatively high likelihood of occurrence – more than 10% of offers having between 20-25% chance of happening – and that helps propels them to the top of the pile.
While Paddy Power were only third behind William Hill with 93 total offers in October, and Betfair’s 90 total offers, the firm boasted five of the top 10 individual offers for the month.
