#boscon2017: Accuscore announces partnership with Finnish gambling operator

At the 2017 Betting on Sports conference, sports forecasting company, Accuscore revealed it has agreed a new content deal with Finnish gambling operator, Veikkaus.

The new deal means Accuscore will deliver short videos to Veikkaus, covering predictions of European football leagues, NBA basketball and various ice hockey leagues.

Content manager of Veikkaus, Sami Sundström said: “We want to provide additional information to our customers in order to make sophisticated betting decisions in our skill games, we feel that videos with info graphics is a good way to consume betting information before making bets on the game.”

Tuomas Kanervala, CEO of Accuscore added: “Many punters are looking for additional information to improve their odds. We want to be an objective content provider and meet the punters demand.

“During recent years the demand for different videos has increased faster than articles and blogs. We are happy to provide multiple weekly videos to Veikkaus as well.”

Veikkaus Oy started its operations at the beginning of 2017, as the Finnish gaming system was reformed and the previous three operators Fintoto, Finland’s Slot Machine Association (RAY), and Veikkaus merged into a single gaming company owned by the Finnish State.

AccuScore is a sports simulation company that predicts sporting events prior to their scheduled time, it then defines each player with a unique algorithm and simulates every match approximately 10,000 times.

The current licensing and subscription services cover all major US sports and top 12 football leagues round the world, Accuscore provides game predictions as well as individual player performance projections to be used also in fantasy sports.
