Freelance sports trader Alan Thompson has proved himself ahead of the World Cup by winning the Onside Analysis World Cup Quiz, run in conjunction with SBC News.
Thompson answered all the questions correctly and won a World Cup Trading Pack developed by Onside Analysis, the specialist in football performance and data analysis. Thompson said: “The pack is excellent, a quality and extremely useful set of documents that I have already put to use. Despite a background in IT, Thompson has been a full time trader since 2008 and has also worked on projects with companies like OPTA and Betfair, delivering bespoke software solutions through to helping with education seminars and content.
He added: “Onside Analysis are a company that I admire from afar on social media and I am aware of their quality betting products. While I always do my own research and analysis, this package will save me hours as well as offer information on aspects I hadn’t even considered.
“Many people don’t understand that making a living from trading requires a huge amount of time and effort. So basically if I am awake I will be researching and working to get my best return out of what will be a betting frenzy over the World Cup, with bookmakers standing prices (hopefully) and plenty of exchange liquidity. Who knows, because Onside Analysis have provided me with so much information already, I might even get some time to sit down and enjoy some of the games!”
