Soft2Bet expands European market footprint in Italy

Soft2Bet is broadening its reach into the Italian market after acquiring a Maltese company that holds a licence in the European country.

Through the strategic venture, Soft2Bet will work with Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli, Italy’s online gambling regulatory body, to stay compliant with local regulations.

The igaming provider also intends to certify its platform in the Italian market, as well as position itself as a platform provider in the European country.

David Yatom Hay, Soft2Bet’s General Counsel, stated: “We at Soft2Bet are happy to deepen our European presence with this exciting venture into the Italian market.

“This is yet another example of Soft2Bet’s steadfast commitment to expand its regulatory portfolio. We’re confident that Italian operators will greatly benefit from what Soft2Bet has to offer to the market.”

Soft2Bet’s new presence in the Italian market is just one part of the company’s European development over the past few months.

Earlier in September, Yatom spoke to SBC News about how the igaming provider is overcoming the regulatory challenges it faces in every market it enters and turning them into new opportunities.

Soft2Bet also recently obtained a B2B A1 licence from the Greek gambling regulator, the Hellenic Gaming Commission, as well as a B2B permit from the Swedish gambling authority Spelinspektionen, and a Romanian licence from local regulator Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc.

Elsewhere across the continent, the company has licences in Denmark, Ireland and Malta, with plans to add more countries to that list.
