The release will allow for fans to bet their earned XP points on Team Vitality matches with the chance to boost their global standing and potentially earn exclusive rewards and experiences with the team.
Built on Tezos blockchain, the community engagement app ‘bridges the gap’ between the esports organisation and its fans by providing access to the teams and rewarding them for their support.
Dmytro Voshkarin, CEO at GG.BET, stated: “We are proud to join Team Vitality and Tezos in providing a world-class fan-experience and support an organisation that puts their fans first.”
The group explained that fans can customise a unique insectoid avatar, complete quests to earn XP points, and earn experiences and rewards. The V.Hive app ranks fans in a global leaderboard by measuring XP points, with new prizes and experiences rewarded to the top fans each season.
“The Prediction Game marks the beginning of a new way for fans to engage with Team Vitality,” Voshkarin continued. “By rewarding accurate predictions, the Prediction Game will bring a new wave of excitement to the global rankings and provide opportunities for fans to quickly scale the leaderboard.”
The app, named after the physical home of Team Vitality in Paris, was designed to ‘change the conversation in the Web3 world’ by going against the global trends in blockchain and esports.
“This is the first time we have integrated a partner into the V.Hive app, and we are thrilled to work with GG.BET to deepen our connection with our fans and bring forward a wave of excitement to the global ranking,” added Nicolas Maurer CEO at Team Vitality.
“We are pleased to bring an innovative new way to bridge the gap between Team Vitality and our fans and look forward to bringing new and exciting features to the app in the future.”
