DraftKings and FanDuel fight New York DFS injunction

Both DraftKings and FanDuel are asking the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division – First Department to overturn a preliminary injunction which ordered the companies to cease operating in the state from December 11th 2015. DraftKings packs a punch with Kountermove acquisition

Daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has agreed a deal to acquire MMA and combat sports fantasy site Kountermove. The full terms of the agreement have not been disclosed but the MMAjunkie.com reported that Kountermove’s 30,000 registered users will be moved over to the DraftKings platform. Mark Cuban has invested in daily fantasy sports start-up Fantasy Labs inc. The company was founded in 2015 by Peter Jennings and Jonathan Bales. They are both professional DFS players and DraftKings analysts.
