Stake.com recruits UFC’s Israel Adesanya as new global brand ambassador

Crypto sports betting site Stake.com has made a foray into the sponsorship market after securing a new, long-term partnership with UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

Adesanya will assume the role of global brand ambassador for the operator, where he will support Stake.cm with a range of sponsorship activations including VIP fight experience, betting promotions and ‘exclusive appearances’.

On the partnership, Adesanya said: “Stake is the world’s leading crypto betting platform and I’m very pleased to be sponsored by them. They’ve risen to the top of their field very quickly and the partnership presents the perfect opportunity to align with a brand whose ethos and ambitions so closely reflect mine.

“The collaboration will see us create many unique opportunities for Stake.com users and I can’t wait to meet and interact with their community throughout the partnership.”

Having previously sponsored the TT Cup table tennis tournament in 2020, this latest collaboration marks the first crypto partnership in the MMA world as Stake.com aims to boost its brand recognition across the sports betting world.

In recognition of the new signing, the crypto site will strengthen its UFC product in addition to maximising its odds and the number of UFC markets available to punters.

Since his debut in 2018, Adesanya has witnessed a ‘meteoric ascent’ in UFC’s middleweight division, having become the reigning middleweight champion with a record of 20-0.
