Andrew McCarron has been writing about the gambling industry since 1998. After completing a journalism degree at the University of Central Lancashire, during which he worked in a South Manchester betting shop, he joined the coin-op titles Coinslot International and Euroslot Worldwide.
In 2004, McCarron became the founding editor of Betting Business, oversaw the change to Betting Business interactive in 2010 and has since been in charge of driving the magazine’s editorial content and advising on group events. During this time, he has helped establish the magazine internationally as one of the leading authorities on betting and gaming matters. As well as developing an extensive network of both land-based and online contacts, he is also an advisor to social betting operator Oddslife.
During his ten years working in the iGaming sector, Sojmark has launched two companies, social sports betting technology company Oddslife and news and events organisation Sports Betting Community (SBC).
While Commercial Director at EveryMatrix, Sojmark optimised all commercial operations and helped EveryMatrix acquire major igaming software service provisions with leading international betting operators.
An iGaming visionary, Sojmark has won Best Sportsbook Innovation 2010, Sports Betting Rising Star 2011 and special commendation for White Label Partner of the Year 2011, all coveted EGR awards. In 2008 and 2009 he also collected the awards for Best Sports Betting Affiliate back-to-back and the Best Overall Affiliate with leading Odds Comparison site BetBrain.com. Sojmark holds an MSc in International Marketing from Syddansk Universitet (Denmark) and is fluent in 4 languages (Danish, Swedish, English and German).

Luke Massey joined SBC in January 2016 to help manage the huge increase in content development work. He graduated from Loughborough University with a Sports Management degree in 2011 and has worked in online gaming ever since. He completed a Professional Freelance Journalism course and became Chief Editor of Sports Betting affiliate site SBA TV. He joined tech start-up Oddslife in 2012 where he was in charge of content and site operations.
Conall McCabe joined the SBC Team in January 2016, as Commercial Manager. He studied at Sheffield Hallam University, and specialises in marketing, sales and marketing strategy. Before joining the SBC Team, he worked for one year as a Marketing Manager for Diversiton Ltd and 18 months as Fundraising Manager for British Red Cross.
Whilst studying History at Sussex University Sam Cooke began writing for SBA TV as the columnist for Charlton Athletic. I later started writing for Oddslife, a position in which I also took on an ambassadorial role by engaging with users and helping with social media. As Content Executive at SBC I write features, promote the site and complete market research within the industry.
