There are many ways of attracting players to a casino lobby. Great games, of course, bring players in and having fun bonus features are a fantastic way to keep players on a platform.
But one often overlooked aspect of making a casino lobby stick out from the crowd is the use of artwork. This is something that PopOK Gaming has recently tapped into.
The firm, which produces slot games and live casino game solutions for the igaming industry globally, has placed a massive amount of effort and resources into making its live casino studios look visually appealing to entice players in.
This effort has culminated in a partnership with renowned street artist Alec Monopoly. Monopoly, a New York-based artist, linked up with PopOK Gaming to design a brand new live casino studio, called Poly by Alec Monopoly, to help the supplier elevate its offering.
This creates trust and engagement with PopOK Gaming’s players, says Diana Andreyan, Business Development Executive at PopOK Gaming.
Speaking with iGaming Expert, Andreyan notes that the artistic vision can help boost player sessions in the live casino sector.
“…it is something that really captures the attention of your players and makes it more interesting for them”
“This collaboration has brought some luxury inspired and street art aesthetics to our new live casino studios,” she says. “In turn this creates more trust and excitement amongst players which leads to longer play sessions.
Artwork is essential and often overlooked in igaming. But Andreyan explains that PopOK Gaming has put lots of effort into its Monopoly collaboration to get the most out of its visuals.
“It brings a very unique artistic touch, because his art direction has been key in shaping our live casino studios, which brings more player retention,” she adds.
“It also shows our commitment to innovation, because when you are collaborating with a world known artist, it is something that really captures the attention of your players and makes it more interesting for them.”
Innovation is a word that PopOK’s mission and mantra is focused around. Andreyan says that in everything the company does on a product development basis, the question is always asked around what is innovative.
“We need to be ahead of the times!” she explains.
“We’re bringing something really new to the market, we are opening a crash game on a land-based machine”
One other way in which PopOK Gaming is aiming to innovate is by entering the land-based sector. As the industry has migrated online rapidly in the last five years, some have pointed out that there has been a lack of innovation in land-based. But this is something PopOK is aiming to resolve.
The firm’s vision is to bring the action of crash games to the land-based sector for the first time.
As Andreyan elaborates: “One of the advantages of our land-based slot machines is that when winning you are opening a bonus game, you have the chance to play a crash game.
“We’re bringing something really new to the market, we are opening a crash game on a land-based machine. This is proof that PopOK is ahead of the time and always trying to do something new. We are always trying to bring new and interesting products to the market and we think this is a very good innovation.”
This, in turn, will create an omnichannel experience for those players who want to play in both the online live casino, as well as the physical brick-and-mortar venue, allowing PopOK to reach a new wave of players.
“These machines complement our online games which are already very popular with players. After playing online, they can then go to a physical casino and play the same games in a different format.”
“We’re always striving to do something new, better and innovative and ensure that we are ahead of the times”
The company has other, more ambitious ways in which it is bringing innovation to the table. It is exploring ways of bringing blockchain technology into its operations, and has identified NFT marketplaces as one way of unlocking this.
The wider BetConstruct group has unveiled Ortak, an NFT marketplace, and PopOK Gaming is linking up with this to bring NFT games to players.
“This is something very innovative because nobody has done this before,” says Andreyan. “We can now sell NFTs of our games and PopOK was the first provider to ever put games on an NFT marketplace. We’re always striving to do something new, better and innovative and ensure that we are ahead of the times.”
The company points towards these three key examples as big ways in which it wants to be known as one of iGaming’s biggest innovators. But the key thing about product development is to never stand still so the competition cannot catch up.
So, iGaming Expert naturally asks what is coming up next for PopOK Gaming. However, Andreyan says that the firm is keeping its cards close to its chest for now, and is allowing the Monopoly live casino studio and land-based crash games to take centre stage for the time being.
Besides, she adds, the firm’s product development is so quick that it’s tough to keep up.
As she concludes: “Our development process is so fast so we are always surprised with what comes next. We are always looking to make a surprise in the market. I will not reveal anything in particular but very soon we will have more new products.”
