WebEngage is an independent and award winning, SaaS firm based out of Mumbai, India. The company offers ‘multi­channel user engagement platform’ that let online businesses engage

with their users across various channels(web, mobile app, email and text message). Launched in Oct 2011 by techie duo, Avlesh and Ankit, who had earlier worked together at Burrp ­ India’s

first restaurant discovery platform. Since its inception the company has achieved exceptional growth both in terms of revenue and traction and has been able to build a global client base,mostly coming from India, Latin America, Europe and the US.

WebEngage’s product

The genesis of WebEngage lies in the fact that marketing teams struggle to extend their messaging on their own website. This is primarily because developers are the gatekeeper to any changes on the website. With WebEngage, marketing and product teams had an answer to that problem. WebEngage provided a push engine which lets them display targeted messages to their visitors. It enabled online businesses engage better with their users, enrich their experience and thereby increase conversions.

WebEngage is a multi­channel user engagement platform.​It enables online businesses track their user’s behaviour across websites and mobile apps and lets them send targeted messages across multiple channels ­ website messages, push notifications & in­app messages (for mobile devices), emails and text messages.
