Sports and betting AI focused data and insights software developer Stratagem has a new owner in Luxembourg-based cryptocurrency trading platform Blockchain.com.
The undisclosed sum acquisition has been confirmed via a blog post on the Blockchain.com website. The buying party details that it will incorporate Stratagem’s ‘world-class’ AI development team to work on its crypto-led technology verticals.
Furthermore, Stratagem will be used to diversify Blockchain.com’s portfolio beyond crypto disciplines adding a new sports-centric component to its operating stable.
Founded in 2013 by former Deutsche Bank executive Andreas Koukorinis, Stratagem aims to deliver new dynamics and insights for betting, by treating sports data as a financial asset class.
Stratagem emphasises machine learning alongside statistical modelling to deliver deeper and more accurate insights on sports predictions, correct market pricing, and risk management.
