London AIM-listed platform and games content provider Nektan Plc has today confirmed that the pending appointment of Lucy Buckley as new Chief Executive Officer.

Updating investors, Nektan governance confirms its new executive leader who is expected to join the company and its board on 3 December 2018.

A seasoned leadership executive in marketing, growth strategies and corporate development, Buckley joins Nektan from industry virtual games and systems supplier Inspired Gaming Group, where she most recently held the position Vice President of Interactive.

Buckley commented on joining Nektan: “I’m excited to be joining Nektan at this pivotal point in the Company’s growth. Nektan’s player-focused technology and services have been proven in the European casino market, and the Company is making significant headway into new B2B revenue streams and additional markets. I look forward to working with the team to accelerate the next phase of growth, making Nektan a global leader in online and mobile gaming innovation.”

Having completed a successful 2017/18 operating period, Nektan governance has stated that it is actively seeking US investment opportunities, to accelerate its presence in the much-changed US gambling market.

The upcoming appointment of Buckley will see Gary Shaw finish his tenure as Interim CEO of Nektan Plc, returning to his former governance position as a corporate executive director.
